Green Events now organise what they describe as Bog Events, Boozing Events, Cultural Events, Mountain Biking Events, and Walking Events throughout the year, all based in and around Llanwrtyd Wells, but be warned that their idea of "cultural" includes the Screaming Lord Sutch Monster Raving Music Party!"
Royal Welsh Show
The Royal Welsh Show is the largest show of its type in the country, with over 230,000 visitors in 2008. Accommodation in the area surrounding Builth Wells gets booked-up months in advance, so contact us early. The showground is just 12 miles away from Llanwrtyd Wells.
Hay Festival
The Hay Festival is one of the most popular, if not the most popular, literature festival in the country and festival goers occupy hotels, B&Bs, and spare bedrooms up to 40 miles from Hay itself. We're just 30 miles, and 50 minutes drive, away through the beautiful valleys of the Wye and the Irfon.
